Chlorpheniramine maleate

• Class: H1-receptor antagonist
• Action: Antihistamines competitively inhibit histamine at H1 receptor sites. These agents have varying degrees of anticholinergic and sedative effect.
• Indications: Allergic didorders, pregnancy toxemia, RFM, mastitis, burns, insect bites, stomatitis, laminitis, rumen atony in cattle
• Dosage:               IM

              Cattle: 30- 50 mg (Total dose)
              Dog: 0.4- 2 mg/kg BID
