Ceftriaxone + Tazobactam


  • Class: Semi synthetic beta lactamase inhibitor
  • Action: It is a highly specific irreversible inhibitor of beta lactamase enzyme produced by gram positive and gram negative aerobes and anaerobes thereby exerting its action by binding itself with these enzymes and blocks their destructive hydrolytic activity.
  • Indications: Mastitis, HS, Pneumonia, Skin, Soft tissue infections
  • Dosage:               IV, IM
               Large Animals: 5-10 mg/kg

               Calf, Sheep, Goat: 10- 15 mg/kg
               Dog, Cat: 15- 25 mg/kg
