• Class: 3rd generation cephalosporin
• Action: It interfere with bacterial cell wall synthesis by inactivating transpeptidase enzyme, thereby producing bactericidal effect.
• Anti bacterial spectrum: Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Corynebacterium, Clostridium, E.coli, Pseudomonas, Anaerobes and spirochetes
• Dosage:                IM, IV

               Dogs, Cats: 25- 50 mg/kg/day in divided doses
