Cefoperazone

• Class: Third generation cephalosporin
• Action: Binds to penicillin binding proteins which inhibits final transpeptidation step of production of cell wall peptidoglycans, thus causing cell wall lysis.
• Indications: BQ, HS, Bronchopneumonia, nephritis, cystitis, pyometra, mastitis, metritis, post operative treatment
• Dosage:                  IM,IV,SC
